Melbourne Arts Commune is a rapidly growing knowledge hub with a current membership of 1. The mission of the Commune is to promote open and high quality discussion of management and organisational issues in tertiary arts faculties, with a special interest in the University of Melbourne. The Commune has no preconceptions about how arts should be run and does not advocate revolutionary change, but is of the belief that two or three decades of reform in arts faculties may not have produced better degrees nor better research.
